Nizar told reporters during a luncheon with PAS leaders and supporters at the official residence Saturday that he would start moving between 10am and 11am.
He said he would be moving to somewhere near the official residence here but declined to reveal its location.
"I don't have much things here to move out from here. I only have my seven children so I need to carry them with me," he said with a smile.
After the Perak government moved into Barisan Nasional rule, Nizar refused to move out of the official residence but relented last week at the request of State Secretary Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hashim.
IPOH: Perak Pakatan Rakyat youth wing has lodged a police report against a supposed Umno-linked website allegedly inciting people to assassinate Perak State Assembly Speaker V. Sivakumar
IPOH: The Prime Minister has come under fire from the Perak DAP for asking Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abd Kadir to defy the law.
Describing it as disappointing, Perak DAP chief Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham said the Perak assembly speaker and the Rights and Privileges Committee made their decisions based on the state constitution and the laws governing them.
"Section 3 of the Perak Legislative Assembly (Privileges) Enactment 1959 clearly states that no member of the legislative assembly shall be liable to any civil suit or criminal proceedings, arrest, imprisonment or damages for anything done or said by them in the state assembly or any committee," he said.
"Therefore, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has committed contempt against the committee and action can be taken against him," he said Saturday.
Abdullah had on Friday told Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abd Kadir and his exco members to go to the State Assembly as usual.
The prime minister had also said that assembly speaker V. Sivakumar's action of suspending Dr Zambry and the excos was wrong.
